Bug swat: Recent Documents in LibreOffice
ONE of the bugs I’ve found with the new version of LibreOffice is that the Recent Documents entry in the File menu doesn’t work. Fortunately, I found a solution online that worked for me–at least in the Ubuntu version of the program.
To get Recent Documents working, simply delete the registrymodifications.xcu file in the hidden .config/libreoffice/3/user directory and run LibreOffice again. This created a new registrymodifications.xcu file – but this time, Recent Documents worked as advertised.

Hi Chin, I hope you reported this bug to LO. This way it can help maximum people. I think their website address to report bugs is: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=LibreOffice
Thanks.
Hi Paul,
I found the solution on a LibreOffice mailing list:
http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/msg16880.html
Also found it in Bugzilla, which tags the problem as fixed:

Thanks Chin,
Appreciate it,
Paul
